Rebekah Vardy called a bully by Iain Lee claiming she made him ‘miserable’ on I’m A Celeb

Rebekah Vardy has been called a "bully" by radio presenter Iain Lee as he recalled his experience of taking part on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! with the 40 year old WAG, despite her always refuting the claims.

Iain, 48, claimed Rebekah left him feeling "f**king miserable and isolated" during their time on the show in Australia, which was back in 2017.

The radio host made the scathing comments after he said he was contacted to take part in an interview focused on Rebekah's public mental health discussions in a Tweet.

He recalled how the interview was set to discuss how "brave" the star was for "promoting" the subject, and in response, Iain called Rebekah a "bully, a liar and a manipulator" and turned down the request.

"Just had an interview request to talk about how Rebekah Vardy is so brave for promoting mental health…" the radio personality began.

"She contributed to me being f**king miserable and isolated in the jungle…so, that's a pass from me."

Iain went on to share his response to the publication in a further Twitter post, detailing the exact words he used.

"I feel I have to explain my refusal," he told them. "I don't know if you saw any of I'm A Celebrity when I was in there.

"Vardy was a bully, a liar and a manipulator," Iain claimed. "She was part of a team that targeted me and made much of my time in there miserable.

"Her first comment to me was 'I think you're a bit of a t**t'. She encouraged people not to talk to and left me isolated (apart from two camp mates who were not taken in by her)."

The presenter then finished his rant by admitting he hoped the request for interview had been a secret attempt to get Iain to discuss her alleged "bullying" in the first place.

"Part of me hopes your email is a ruse to get an interview from me which I think is about her bravery and then you skewer to make it about her bullying and belittle-ing," he said.

OK! has contacted representatives for Rebekah for comment.

Rebekah denied bullying Iain during their time in camp, later saying to her father: "You know what, I was the one that was being the most supportive of him.

"A bully? I've never been a bully in my whole entire life."

She also broke down in tears as she insisted she hadn't "ganged up" on the broadcaster.

In 2019, Iain said on his talkRADIO show that he "didn't get on with Rebekah" in the jungle, and that it was "no secret" she and Jamie Lomas were his "least favourite" campmates.
