Morrissey‘s support for the right-wing political group For Britain has cost him dearly, as his music was banned from the world’s oldest record store.
Spillers Records in Cardiff will not stock Morrissey’s celebrated back catalogue in response to the English singer, songwriter, and author wearing a For Britain pin during his appearance on “The Tonight Show” last week.
“I’m saddened but ultimately not surprised that Spillers is unable to stock Morrissey’s releases any longer. I only wished I’d done it sooner,” Spillers owner Ashli Todd told WalesOnline.
Spillers’ action comes a day after Anne Marie Waters, the leader of the right-wing political group praised Morrissey for his supportive gesture.
