MAFS UKs Tayah and Adam predict babys gender in exclusive 11 week scan video diary

After announcing that they are expecting their first child together, Married At First Sight UK's Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling have shared an intimate video of themselves attending their first ultrasound appointment with OK!.

In the video diary, the MAFS couple documented the moments before and after of their 11-week scan and shared their excitement at seeing their little one for the first time.

Tayah, 26, introduces the video diary by telling us: “We’re off to see the baby!” as she films herself and Adam, 27, in the car driving to their appointment.

The couple found out they were expecting when Tayah was just four weeks along, so they've certainly been waiting a long time for their first peek at their little one.

“So we should be around 11 weeks today,” Tayah tells the camera.

Her fiancé Adam, who proposed for real during the final vow renewal ceremony on the Channel 4 show, then asks: “Are you excited?”

Tayah replies: “I’m very excited. I’m very nervous but I’m very excited. So lets go and see this baby!”

“And see how big it is!” Adam adds.

The video also sees the pair, who have postponed their legal nuptials due to their baby, discuss that they think they might be having a little boy.

Sitting next to each other in the car, Tayah continues: “I’m also dying to know the gender. We’ve just found out the gender of Adam’s brother’s baby.”

Adam says: “Literally he just came round to tell us. They’re having a boy, so we’re thinking boy.”

Tayah adds: “We think we’re going to be outnumbered by boys, so yeah it’s so exciting.”

Adam goes on to explain that the pair aren’t finding out the gender at their first appointment, but they will be finding out the news “soon”.

The couple then excitedly show us their scan picture following the appointment with huge smiles on their faces.

Holding the scan picture up to the camera, Tayah says with a laugh: “It proper looks like me this baby, I can just see the resemblance!”

Adam then asks: “How do you feel Tay?” to which Tayah replies: “I’m so excited. It’s so cute seeing the baby actually like this.”

Revealing how the appointment went, Adam continues: “When they were doing the ultrasound the baby went like this [Adam punches the air twice] so it’s going to be a boy and it’s going to be a boxer!”

“It’s so exciting!” adds Tayah, before the camera zooms into a close-up of their precious scan snap.

During our exclusive interview, electrician Adam did confess that he would like a mini me for their first born.

He told us: “I would like a little boy! But obviously I wouldn’t be disappointed as I’m just so happy that we’re expecting. We’d definitely like more than one.

Tayah agreed and added: “Yeah, that’s a no-brainer for us having siblings.”

Adam continued: “We’ve never properly spoke about how many exactly but I guess we’ll just go with the flow and see what happens.”

As for their decision to find out the gender, which they revealed in our chat they will find out this week, Tayah continued: “I’m so impatient, I like to organise things. I wish I could keep it a surprise but I want to know.”

Adam added: “I really want to get a flare that it’s either pink or blue when you set it off, so I think we’re going to do that with just really close family there.”
