Cara De La Hoyde, who won Love Island with her now-husband Nathan Massey five years ago, has spoken out after fans quizzed her on why she “doesn’t speak to anyone from the show”.

The Essex-born star, 30, who is now on speaking terms with Olivia Bowen since their falling out, took part in a Q&A with her fans on Instagram which involved her followers sending in their assumptions for Cara to answer.

“You don’t talk to anyone from love island/fallen out with them,” [sic] one of her followers sent to the mum-of-two.

"No I talk to the people I want to and love following what they are up to,” she replied, alongside a picture of herself, Nathan and their two children, Freddie-George, two, and baby Delilah, who was born last July.

“But the people I don't I don't. It’s not that I’ve fallen out I just don't care, and doubt they do about my life either.”

Cara, who recently said she struggled with mum guilt after welcoming her daughter, concluded by writing: “People grow and lives change. I like my circle small."

It comes after Olivia Bowen revealed she and Cara have chatted through lockdown since they went their separate ways.

The stars may have been the best of friends on the reality show, but when Cara was dropped as one of Olivia’s bridesmaids before her wedding to Alex Bowen in 2018, fans were shocked.

Olivia said at the time: “She missed a few things and I didn’t see her for weeks and months on end, to the point where, when it came down to it, logistically it was impossible to get her dress fitted."

When Cara and Nathan tied the knot themselves back in 2019, the girls were still not on speaking terms with each other.

Elsewhere, Cara honestly admitted her "libido is gone" because she is "exhausted" after she welcomed her second child with Nathan last summer.

"We’re not even sleeping in the same bed because Delilah is in our room with me," she revealed to Fabulous magazine.

"Nathan sleeps in Fred’s room so he won’t get woken up and be a zombie at work the next day. I can’t remember the last time we were on our own. My libido’s gone anyway – I’m too tired."
