On Tuesday, the Kardashian family shocked everyone when they announced that they would be ending Keeping Up With The Kardashians after 21 seasons. While the official story via Entertainment Tonight is that it was a family decision, rumors are swirling that there were some key players in making it. Namely, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian.
According to a source for The Sun, Kylie was ready to move on with her life after the success of her Kylie Cosmetics line. "Kylie is making billions of dollars through her make-up line and product endorsements – she doesn't need the show, and like Kendall, has always struggled with fame and being in the spotlight," they claim.
As for Kim, she is also very successful outside of the show and some recent family drama had her ready to end it. "Kim has all the drama with Kanye West going on – he's refusing to put anything personal on the show, and it's increasingly difficult for Kim to find time to film the show," they went on.
Regardless of the reasoning, the cancelation of the show is very real and based on the family's social media posts, they seem to be doing just fine. Kylie – apparently basking in the success that reportedly made her want to quit – posted a photo of herself sitting in a custom Rolls Royce, decked out in head-to-toe designer. In the picture, she's wearing a pink Prada bucket hat, a pink Birkin bag, and white Nike sneakers.
As for Kim, she's been posted about her new shapewear colors for Skims and clearing up rumors that she has a sixth toe?
Seems like even without a show, we'll still be getting plenty of the Kardashian randomness, drama, and of course, opulence.
