Comedian Katherine Ryan has given birth to her third child, a daughter named Fenna, with her husband Bobby Kootstra announcing the birth to his Instagram.
Praising his wife's "strength" in the caption, Bobby shared a snap of the TV star in what appears to be a birthing pool, revealing that the couple opted for a home birth.
He wrote: "Grace Kootstra Dec 16, at 12:05am. Mom is incredible! Proving her strength repeatedly through the relatively lengthy delivery at home. We are so blessed:)"
While pregnant, Katherine had revealed that she was hoping to have a home birth with her third child as she gives birth “quickly”.
Friends and fans alike were quick to share their well-wishes to the happy couple, with fellow comedian Roisin Conaty commenting: "Oh my darlings what a beautiful baby huge congratulations to you both, can’t wait to meet her."
Actress and TV presenter Emily Atack wrote: "Congratulations lovely people!!!!!"
One fan added: "Ah delighted for you both – another gorgeous girl. Beautiful name! Fred is a big brother and Violet has a little partner in crime."
While another said: "Congratulations! she’s absolutely beautiful! well done Katherine"
