Former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan, 44, has spoken out in defence of football manager Tony Adams, 55, after went Full Monty for tonight’s show. The dancer insisted Tony is “not going anywhere” after the daring performance that received a huge reaction from social media.

Strictly’s third Saturday of the competition had “movies” as the theme, and Tony’s partner Katya Jones decided on the film The Full Monty for their dance.

The pair danced an extremely entertaining Samba to You Sexy Thing from the classic British movie, which hilariously saw Tony rip off both his trousers and his shirt for the routine.

Taking to Twitter, James told his 321,000 followers: “Tony is going nowhere again this week after reading your comments.

“You don’t have to be a great dancer to be entertaining,” he added.
