The team, known as the Lionesses, are heading to France for the tournament, where they hope to improve upon the semi-final appearance they managed four years ago in Canada.
Ellie announced that star forward, Fran Kirby of Chelsea, had made the team as expected, saying in a Twitter video: “I’m delighted for you Fran and the rest of the squad, what an incredible achievement.”

The team, who are managed by former England and Manchester United player Phil Neville, begin their campaign with an epic clash against their old enemies Scotland in Nice on June 9.
