Love Island stars Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins may not have initially coupled up with one another at the beginning of their journeys inside the famous ITV2 villa but they finished the series as one of the strongest pairings. Curtis called off his romance with Amy Hart while on the show, prompting her to leave, and soon moved on with Maura. The rest is history and Curtis and Maura went from strength-to-strength inside the villa making it to the Love Island final. Here’s what they’re up to now and if they’re still together.
Are Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins still together?
Love Island’s Maura and Curtis are still together after leaving the show as a couple.
Curtis and Maura’s romance actually appears stronger than ever now they’re outside the villa, sharing several loved up snaps all over social media (see below).
In fact, Maura shared a snap of her and Curtis on August 11 saying: “Not long till I’m back in your arms”
The pair also attended the Love Island: Reunion show earlier this month as an official couple.
While joint public appearances have been scarce, both Curtis and Maura’s work diaries have been jam-packed with opportunities since coming out the villa – however, this hasn’t stop their romance from flourishing.
Curtis landed a role on BBC dance contest The Greatest Dancer after leaving the ITV2 series.
He’ll join the likes of Cheryl, Oti Mabuse and Alesha Dixon in The Greatest Dancer team.
The Love Island star announced the news on Instagram, saying: “Can’t believe this is actually happening! So happy to be a part of this massively talented team @greatestdancer – filming in Birmingham at the ICC until Monday!
“Everyone has made me feel so welcome and loving meeting all the contestants. On TV from January on BBC One!”
His girlfriend Maura has achieved similar success since leaving Love Island, landing a presenting role on This Morning.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford revealed she’d be joining This Morning at the beginning of August.
Maura will take part in “some very exciting things” on the ITV daytime show.
She told Ruth and Eamonn on her show debut: “They want me to do a skydive which I am terrified about. There are a few challenges.”
The Love Island star also hinted at being part of the This Morning phone-ins in order to tell viewers “how it is”.
With the pair’s hectic schedule, Love Island fans haven’t had much of a chance to see the pair together out and about.
However, several of the former Islanders from this year have shown the support for the couple despite their lack of public appearances.
Lucie Donlan replied on Maura’s Instagram snap of her and Curtis: “You two [heart eyes emoji].”
Love Island winner Amber Gill also commented on the snap: “Toooo cute [love heart emoji].”
While booted Islander Sherif Lanre simply added: “Cute AF.”
Love Island 2019 is available to stream on the ITV Hub now.
