Coronation Street star Sam Aston is set to become a lawfully wedded husband tomorrow when he ties-the-knot with yoga expert fiancee Briony Gardner.
The 25-year-old soap star will be starting his very own happily ever after when he swaps vows in front of friends, family, and many of the Corrie cast to make Briony his wife.
Sam and Briony have been dating since 2012 – and the actor (who plays unlucky in love Chesney Brown on the long-running ITV soap) affectionately refers to her as “my little piranha fish.”
The star will be able to look forward to a lifetime of being nibbled by the stunning yoga instructor after they both say “I do,” on Sunday.
Andy Whyment, 38, and Alan Halsall, 36, (who play Kirk Sutherland and Tyrone Dobbs on Corrie respectively) will be among the guests cheering on the happy couple.
The couple have been gearing up for their big day for month – with Sam sharing snaps and videos on his stag do in Edinburgh back in March.
While Briony shared a photo of their wedding rings, kept secure in a round wooden box adorned with their names and the date “05.05.19” weeks ago.
Sam has opened up about his delight at getting married after being in a relationship with Briony since his teenage years.
“We’ve also been together for a long time so it just feels right and I don’t feel like I want to wait,” he told OK! magazine previously.
Sam’s on-screen romantic life has been much less successful – with his wedding day to Sinead Tinker in 2018 ending in disaster when he jilted her at the alter after she engaged in an affair with fellow cobbles resident Daniel Osbourne.
