The actor, who plays Chesney Brown in the ITV soap, donned a classic black tuxedo – and was full of smiles as he married his childhood sweetheart.
Sam, 25, told OK! magazine: “I feel like the luckiest man alive. When I turned around and saw Briony, I thought she looked unbelievably beautiful.
“I had to compose myself when I said my vows, I could feel a lump in my throat.”
Yoga teacher Briony looked beautiful in her off-the-shoulder white Riki Dalal-designed gown with lace detailing and a full skirt.

Sam said: “I almost dropped Briony at the end of our first dance!”
Briony has clearly forgiven Sam for the slight mishap as her thoughts are on starting a family – but not before the couple go on a dream holiday.
“I want a house full of children but we want to do things like go on a Harley-Davidson trip through northern Italy,” she said.
“We’ll do that and then think about babies!”
