While Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha, 55, addressed her opinions on body shaming on the programme yesterday, she claimed she wants to end “stinking thinking” about women’s bodies. However, Coleen Nolan’s manager, Melanie Blake, lashed out at the EastEnders actress via Twitter, as she called her a “total witch” and accused her of having a “nasty” side.

She is a total witch.

Nadia opened up about body shaming with older women and explained how nobody in her “entire life” has ever said anything as nasty to her than she has to “herself”.

Despite her words of empowerment, Melanie – who is the boss of Urban Associates talent agency which represents Coleen Nolan, 55, and Saira Khan, 50 – decided to share the clip of Nadia’s message and reveal her thoughts about the star.

The social media outburst came after Nadia revealed one comment she received on her Instagram post, which was a video of herself jumping into a swimming pool while wearing a bikini.

“I’ve got some comments here actually, this woman here, she says she and her sister-in-law always sit as near as they can to the pool because they’re not confident enough to be in a costume,” Nadia began.

“‘Actually I felt like this for years’, she said. ‘I was told as a woman reaching 50 she should never wear a bikini.'”

Nadia went on to discuss: “I literally want to be aunty. I think for the older woman it is harder. I really am desperate to get into the younger brains of young women and say, ‘Please stop it earlier than we do.’

“There is this absolute stinking thinking and nobody in my entire life has ever said anything as nasty to me as I have said to myself,” she revealed.

Nadia pressed: “At home, women, how many of you would say the same as that?

“Nobody is as mean to you as you are to yourself and it really doesn’t have to be like that.”

Alongside the clip of Nadia, Melanie shared with her 23,000 Twitter followers: “It’s a shame she ‘officially’ gave up acting because Nadia deserves an Oscar for this speech.

“In 20 years of repping clients, I never saw a nastier side to anyone than I did of her & I’m not alone.

“Her constant ‘be kind’ etc speeches are so ironic considering she is a total witch.”

Express.co.uk has contacted Nadia Sawalha and Coleen Nolan’s representatives for comment.

Despite Melanie’s comments, one fan shared: “This is so true. We are told in this society what the perfect body should look like, yet we are all unique on our own journey.

“I studied in India & all women were told they were goddesses, no matter what shape or size. You are a goddess Nadia, all the #loosewomen are. Xx.”

Another remarked: “I agree we definitely are more unkind to ours than others… I often think you can’t say anything to me that I haven’t said to myself … we do need to be more kind and less judgemental of other women too.”

Elsewhere, after pubs and restaurants reopened last month, Nadia took to her social media to share her first meal out with her long-term husband Mark Adderley after four months of being locked down.

Alongside the clip, Nadia divulged: “Super Saturday date night with @mark_adderley! I’ve got a wee bit Merry by accident! So excited to indulge in a little romance eat someone else’s food after three months of eating my own grub!!”

While many fans were thrilled to see the pair go out on a date, one fan questioned why she was going out after she previously admitted she was worried about infecting her parents with COVID-19.

“I don’t understand how you went out as soon as restaurants opened when you said you are worried about infecting your parents etc,” one person replied.

Nadia then responded: “Because as even the government and desperate workers have all said – we all need to do our bit to get the economy moving again.

“We were socially distanced and observed all protocols – no discrepancy in outlook here.”
