Chrissy Teigen has unveiled her new look after undergoing an eyebrow transplant.
The 35-year-old opened up about her latest procedure, which involves putting hair from the back of the patient’s head and places on the face, after spending years overplucking her brows as a teen – and has warned others to step away from the tweezers.
Taking to her Instagram story, the model revealed the results of the surgery alongside a snap in her hospital gown, telling followers: ‘I never wear makeup if I can avoid it so I was so excited for this eyebrow transplant surgery where they take hairs from the back of your head!! [sic].’
She then gave fans a glimpse into her post-surgery look with much darker brows, calling the impact ‘crazy’.
Showing off the final look, Chrissy enthused: ‘A little dark from the pencil it’s so cool to have brows again!
‘Teens: do not pluck them all off like I did [sic].’
Her doctor, Jason Diamond, reposted a snap of the mum-of-three on his own Instagram page, telling fans: ‘Eyebrows play a huge part of the facial aesthetic.
‘They frame the eyes and can either be an asset to the eyes, or they can be the annoying part of your morning you have to spend ten minutes filling in.
‘I know too many people, entire generations, who either overplucked brows as part of the trend or are simply experiencing eyebrow thinning with time. #EyebrowTransplantation is a procedure where we mutually agree on shape, density, etc., and skill takes it from there.’
Chrissy has always been open about cosmetic procedures, and recently went under the knife for a buccal fat removal in her cheeks, performed by Dr Diamond.
‘No shame in my Dr Diamond game’, she vowed while showing off her cheekbones.
‘I did that Dr. Diamond buccal fat removal thing here, and since I quit drinking I’m really seeing the results.
‘I like it. Yeah, I did it, what?’
