Selfies are apparently a new Oscars tradition.
Charlize Theron nearly outdid Ellen DeGeneres‘ epic 2014 Oscars selfie with a starry photo of her own.
The Oscars-nominated “Bombshell” actress posted a selfie from the front row of the 2020 Oscars with her mom as well as Tom Hanks, Rita Wison, Salma Hayek, Regina King and Rami Malek.
“Good company #Oscars2020,” Theron captioned the pic on Instagram.
Keanu Reeves and Quentin Tarantino also made the photo in the background.
The Kodak moment drew comparisons to Ellen’s snap from 2014 with Jennifer Lawrence, Jared Leto, Bradley Cooper, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Kevin Spacey and Lupito Nyong’o.
“If only Bradley’s arm was longer. Best photo ever. # Oscars,” she tweeted at the time.
The photo became the most retweeted tweet in Twitter history, breaking President Obama’s previous record.
This isn’t the first time someone has tried to outdo DeGeneres’ selfie game.
At the 2017 Met Gala, Kylie Jenner posted a bathroom selfie with Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky, Lily Aldridge, Brie Larson, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Slick Woods and Paris Jackson.
50 Cent also tried for an epic selfie, posing with Busta Rhymes and the Mobb Deep rappers in 2014.
