Actress Billie Piper has officially hopped onto the 90s trend as she shared a stunning snap on her Instagram where she debuted her new Jennifer Aniston hair transformation.
‘The Rachel’ might just be one of the most iconic hairstyles in the 90s and was made popular by Jennifer Aniston when she played the role of Rachel Green in the hit American sitcom Friends.
Billie showed off her new hairstyle on Instagram which consists of shoulder-length layers with extra volume and a few pieces of fringe in front of her face. Billie looked stunning as she gave a big smile with her face pressed against a mirror.
Billie captioned the snap: “Got ‘the Rachel’”, with her fans immediately getting the iconic reference and sending their compliments.
One fan penned: “Serving Honey To The Bee! Looks gorgeous queen!”, while another added: “always wanted to get ‘the Rachel’!!! It looks STUNNING on you”.
A third commented: “I had The Rachel when I was much younger. Of course it’s back In again. You look stunning as always.”
Another sweetly added: “I used to take your picture to the hairdressers when i was a teenager to get the “billie piper” haircut”.
Billie is known for switching up her hairstyles and looked almost unrecognisable earlier this year when she underwent a dramatic hair transformation, swapping her shoulder length wavy bob for a much edgier mullet and pixie cut combination.
In an Instagram story posted in March, Billie showed off the dramatic transformation with the caption: “Things are gonna change around here”.
In the photo, her blunt shoulder-length bob was long gone, and replaced with a short, choppy new style that combines the classic pixie cut with the latest hair trend; the mullet.
The front of her new hair featured a super short wispy fringe that curved around her face in a side parting just like a pixie cut, with extra short layers on top for some volume and texture.
The mullet typically involves a very short top and sides, with all the length being at the back of the head, while a pixie cut typically leaves a long fringe and front area with a shorter back and sides.
Billie was known for her honey-blonde tresses but completely switched it up last year when she swapped her platinum blonde hair for a shorter, choppier, jet-black “emo” haircut.
The actress clearly has no trouble pulling off any hairstyle.
