Amy Hart has opened up on what it was like to leave the Love Island villa in 2019 to find out that one of her favourite celebrities didn't particularly warm to her.

The 27 year old, who recently appeared on Celebs Go Dating before the coronavirus lockdown, explained she was "crushed" when she saw tweets from Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan.

In June last year, James shared a series of tweets where he didn't hold back his opinion on several Love Island girls, including Amy.

Now, a year later, Amy has discussed how she felt about the tweets shared by the 42 year old star while on Gabrielle Scawthorn's Back From Reality podcast.

"Love Island is such a big show and it's when celebrities that you admire – for example James Jordan. I never talked about this before…" she started.

Amy, who recently revealed why she's "starting her romance again" with Celebs Go Dating's Kurt, continued: "I loved him and Ola on Strictly, right, I loved him on Dancing On Ice, I voted for him every week on Dancing On Ice and when he won I was so happy.

"Followed him on Twitter for years, brilliant.

The blonde beauty added that coming out of the villa to a world of trolling was quite difficult for her as she said: "It's really hard. Everyone's got an opinion on everything and it's just nastiness."

Despite this, Amy said she had no regrets about going on the show as she told Gabrielle: "I would do it again."
